For those of you who were rejected (or accepted) to Maryland this year, I have some statistics from Christopher Morris. They received over 150 applications this year, and had funding for four spots, one of which was taken by a deferral from last year. So that's a grand total of 3 spots for 150 applicants, or a 2% admit rate. Thought you might like to know!
This philosophy game is fucking ridiculous.

Has anyone out there gotten any notice of rejection from ND this year? I'm wondering if those who have not been notified of acceptance or waitlist still have a chance or if they are just holding off on rejection notices.
They usually reach the applicant on the March 15th deadline via postal service. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but you should expect it Monday.
What if you got into the program of your choice, but you were certain (this is a thought experiment) that you would not get an academic job afterwards? Would you go anyway? On the bright side, I guess about 9% of the American population would love 5 years of guaranteed income right now.
If it's the program of your choice and you love doing philosophy, then I say do it. Work your ass off for those years--publish a few papers, network at conferences, get outside readers for your dissertation who can recommend you on the job market. Believe it or not, even grads of places like Notre Dame, Yale, and Brown end up struggling on the market because they didn't work as hard as those in lower ranked schools. Jobs are out there, believe me, and you can find success at less distinguished program. You just have to decide to be better than those who got into "better" programs. I have seen it happen year in and year out. Then the jobs will be there for you.

Someone posted an acceptance on TGC, can anyone verify this? If so, where on the website did you find your acceptance? I can not find a place where this information would be when I sign in.
Check your status
UT is a funny program. It still believes itself to be an elite program worthy of only the best. Like Michigan, it will be digging into its short wait list this year, scrambling just to fill its class.

I called just now and they said they'd be letting PhD applicants know of their status by the last week of March.
They've got to overhaul their administrative process. It's shocking that it took a month for applications simply to be inputted into their system before becoming "under review".
A friend of mine called and spoke to the graduate advisor yesterday for quite awhile. He was told that a number of acceptances have been extended already. Roughly five or so applications are being retained as a sort of "wait list," though the specifics are unclear. The rest of the applicants will receive an update on the website (many already have).
was told I'm on the waitlist, didn't realize that there were just 5 people on the list, or just 5 slots open to begin with

I have been watching CUNY closely, and I haven't seen anything but one acceptance on the grad cafe. So I would guess that they aren't done, unless they are in a serious budget crisis and only admitted two or three people (which is possible I suppose).

The graduate advisor at UCLA informed that all applicants (accepted, wait listed, and rejected) will be notified via the website today (although I know that some accepted applicants were already contacted personally).
I am still in suspense...(officially at least).

Somebody just posted being accepted to Columbia via the postal service (this is the second one now). Wtf? Anybody want to claim it and say what happened? Were you emailed also? Or called? It just seems super weird...
Getting a letter in the mail does seem SUPER weird. I, for one, am outraged at Columbia for this transgression.
I still haven't heard anything. Who's like me? Who has received a good email? And who has got one not so good?
Ah, so Chicago was sitting on my reject so they could offer me an unfunded admission to their MAPH program. I'm happy I'm in a position to decline that...
Just spoke with Tim McGrew (really nice guy). High on the waitlist for funding.
Congrats. I knew someone that went there and loved it.
